Henry's Poultry Feeds

Henry’s Chick Starter Crumbs      Protein 19.0%      Oil 4.6%      Fibre 4.5%

  • Introduce as soon after hatching as possible and continue for approx. 6 - 8 weeks.

  • Feed on a free access basis and gradually change over to Henry’s Original Growers Pellets by mixing crumbs and pellets to ensure a gradual changeover.

  • Expect to feed approx 400-450g total feed upto 6 weeks

  • Ensure grit and fresh, clean drinking water are available at all times.

Henry’s Original Growers Pellets   Protein 16.0%       Oil 4.0%       Fibre 4.0%

  • A follow-on feed from Henry’s Chick Crumbs.

  • Feed from 6 - 8 weeks old at a rate of approx. 120g/hd/day (or feed to appetite)

  • If a slower growth rate is required, then mix with Henry’s Whole Wheat or Henry’s Mixed Poultry Corn.

  • For Laying birds gradually mix in Henry’s Original Layers Pellets from 16 weeks old and most birds will be laying by 20-24 weeks old.

  • Ensure grit and fresh, clean drinking water are available at all times.

 

Henry’s Original Layers Pellets    Protein 16%            Oil 3.25%       Fibre 4.5%

  • A complete feed for laying birds; it is fully balanced with all the necessary vitamins and minerals.

  • Introduce 2 - 4 weeks prior to the birds starting to lay.

  • It can be fed all year round on a free access basis and birds will eat approx. 100 to 150g/hd/day.

  • If feeding Henry’s Mixed Poultry Corn as a treat this is best done as a separate feed in the afternoon to ensure the birds eat sufficient Layers pellets.

  • Ensure grit and fresh, clean drinking water are available at all times.

Henry’s Original Layers Meal Protein 16%       Oil 3.5%       Fibre 5.0%

  • The same as Henry’s Original Layers Pellets but in a meal form which can be fed wet or dry.

  • Feeding rates etc are the same as for Henry’s Natural Layers Pellets.

  • Ensure grit and fresh, clean drinking water are available at all times.

 

Henry’s Mixed Poultry Corn Protein 10.50%     Oil 3.2 %       Fibre 2.8%

  • A quality mixture of 70% Wheat (grown in the Cotswolds) and 30% Maize (non-GM) and a small amount of soya oil. The grains used in the mixture are high quality and no rejected grain is used.

  • Henry’s Mixed Poultry Corn should be used as treat and fed separately in the afternoon at approx. 20g/hd/day.

  • To ensure that Laying birds get a nutritionally balanced diet ensure this is fed in conjunction with Henry’s Original Layers Pellets.

 

 

 

 

Henry’s Premium Poultry Corn Blend         Protein 12% Oil 5% Fibre 3.80%

  • A six seed premium poultry mix containing wheat, maize, barley, peas, black sunflower, and buck wheat.

  • An ideal treat for feeding quality birds and those in need of a little TLC.

  • The seed combination provides good quality protein & oil.

  • It is good for egg production and feather condition.

  • Henry’s Premium Poultry Corn Blend should be used as treat and fed separately in the afternoon at approx. 20g/hd/day.

Feed consumptions are for a guide only – they depend on the weather (feed more in the cold), management and access to other food sources.
